Agreement to Terms
Your acceptance of these conditionsBy accessing or using the Seruka Travel platform — whether via our website, mobile application, or any affiliated service — you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must discontinue use of the platform immediately. Your continued use of Seruka after any changes to these terms constitutes acceptance of the revised version.
Use of Our Website
Permitted and prohibited activitiesYou agree to use Seruka only for lawful purposes in connection with travel booking and related services. Specifically:
- Users must be at least 18 years old, or have verifiable parental or guardian consent to use our services.
- You agree to use the website only for lawful purposes directly related to travel booking and services.
- Unauthorised access, data scraping, reverse engineering, or any attempt to disrupt the website's functionality is strictly prohibited.
- You must not introduce malicious code, viruses, or any material that is harmful to the platform or its users.
- We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the website without prior notice.
- Users are solely responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all information provided during the booking process.
- Reselling or commercial use of Seruka services without written consent from Seruka Travel Ltd is prohibited.
Bookings & Payments
How transactions work on SerukaAll bookings made through Seruka are subject to availability and confirmation by the relevant airline or service provider. A booking is only confirmed once full payment has been received and a confirmation email has been issued.

- All prices displayed on Seruka are in USD unless otherwise stated and include applicable service fees.
- Seruka acts as an intermediary; final fare pricing is set by the airline and may change until payment is confirmed.
- You will receive an e-ticket by email and WhatsApp immediately upon successful payment.
- Seruka is not liable for payment failures caused by your bank or mobile money provider.
Cancellations & Refunds
Understanding your options after bookingCancellation and refund rights are determined primarily by the fare rules of the airline you have booked with. Seruka's own modification window is as follows:
- Within 5 hours of booking: Changes or cancellations may be requested by contacting our support team. Seruka's service fee is non-refundable.
- After 5 hours: Requests are subject entirely to the airline's fare rules and cancellation policy.
- Non-refundable fares: Many promotional or economy fares are non-refundable. This is displayed clearly before payment.
- Refund processing: Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within 7 – 14 business days.
- No-show policy: Failure to board without prior cancellation forfeits the ticket value entirely.
User Accounts
Your responsibilities as a registered userWhen you create an account on Seruka, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
- You must not share your account credentials with any third party.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- If you suspect unauthorised use of your account, notify us immediately at support@seruka.rw.
- Seruka reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts found to be in breach of these terms.
- Loyalty points earned via Seruka Plus are non-transferable and have no cash value outside the platform.
Intellectual Property Rights
Ownership of content and trademarksAll content on this website — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, and software — is the exclusive property of Seruka Travel Ltd and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable intellectual property laws.
- Unauthorised reproduction, distribution, modification, or public display of any content is strictly prohibited.
- The Seruka name, logo, and brand identity may not be used without prior written consent.
- User-submitted content (such as reviews) grants Seruka a non-exclusive licence to use, display, and distribute such content on our platform.
- Third-party trademarks referenced on this platform belong to their respective owners.
Limitation of Liability
What Seruka is and is not responsible forSeruka Travel Ltd acts as an intermediary between travellers and airlines or accommodation providers. To the fullest extent permitted by Rwandan law:
- Seruka is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our platform or services.
- We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or continuous availability of flight prices, schedules, or seat availability displayed on the platform.
- Seruka is not responsible for delays, cancellations, or changes made by airlines or other travel service providers.
- Users acknowledge and accept all risks associated with using our platform, including reliance on booking details, pricing, and availability.
- Our total liability to you in any circumstance shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the specific booking in question.
Privacy & Data Protection
How we handle your personal informationYour use of Seruka is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using our platform you consent to the collection and use of your data as described therein.
- We collect personal data necessary to process bookings, including name, email, phone number, and payment details.
- Your data is never sold to third parties for marketing purposes.
- We use industry-standard encryption to protect your payment and personal information.
- You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data at any time.
Governing Law & Disputes
Legal jurisdiction and resolutionThese Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Rwanda. Any disputes arising from the use of our website or services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kigali, Rwanda.
- Before initiating formal legal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation for at least 30 days.
- If negotiation fails, disputes may be referred to mediation under the Rwanda Arbitration Centre rules.
- Nothing in this clause prevents either party from seeking urgent injunctive relief from a competent court.
Changes to These Terms
How we handle updatesSeruka Travel Ltd reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time to reflect changes in our services, technology, or applicable law. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date shown at the top of this page.
We encourage you to review these terms periodically. Continued use of the Seruka platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
